Every person, every organization, every industry has a story.
Does a single story capture the water industry?
Who and how should our story be told?

Please view the following two videos and join us for discussion:

1. The danger of a single story by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie:  https://www.ted.com/talks/chimamanda_adichie_the_danger_of_a_single_story

2. Why women should tell the stories of humanity by Jude Kelly:  https://www.ted.com/talks/jude_kelly_why_women_should_tell_the_stories_of_humanity

This discussion will be led by Brianna Huber. Brianna works as a chemist for the City of East Moline Water Filtration Plant.  Brianna has been with the City of East Moline for 3 years and is a licensed Class A Public Water Supply Operator.  Brianna is currently the chair of the ISAWWA Outreach, Mentoring, and Women in Water committees.  She is also the co-chair of the Upper Mississippi River Water Suppliers Coalition and an active steering committee member of the Area Maritime Security Council.
