Design, Operation & Maintenance of Groundwater Treatment Equipment Seminar and RO Plant Tour

TOPIC: This course will cover the design, operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment for groundwater applications. Strategies for removal and/or control of iron, manganese, arsenic, nitrates, radium, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia and other misc. groundwater constituents will be discussed. As time allows, chlorination and fluoridation principles will also be reviewed. The second part of the seminar will include an educational plant tour of Geneva's RO treatment plant.


PRESENTERS:Ron Rappard and Mike Piercy, Layne and Mike Martens and Mike Anderson, City of Geneva.

REGISTRATION & HOURS: Registration begins at 7:30am. The training will start at 8:00am and will conclude by 12:00pm. Earn up to 4 Professional Development Hours (PDH's) for engineers or Renewal Training Credit (RTC) hours for water operators. Continental breakfast will be included.
