More and more Illinois communities are looking for new technologies to provide less expensive solutions to improve underground water systems. Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP) Rehabilitation is an IEPA approved technology that is gaining traction in the region. The cost savings and reduced disruption associated with this trenchless technology is very attractive to water system owners.
This session will build on the questions submitted at the August 17, 2011 webinar, "Trenchless Water Main Rehabilitation - A Sustainable Alternative to Open Cut Replacement” webinar and provide detailed discussion on a number of design details. Topics will include differences in each liner product, liner-to-pipe connections, node management (services/fittings/valves), performance-based specifications, and potential issues. A number of recent, local case studies will be presented.
PRESENTER:: Sean O’Dell P.E., Baxter & Woodman, Inc., SOdell@baxterwoodman.com
