SUMMARY: If you have little or no experience in a laboratory or would like to learn how to run chlorine, phosphate, pH, turbidity, hardness, alkalinity, fluoride, iron, and conductivity then this class is for you. Join us for a short lecture and then lots of hands-on lab experience.

Registration begins at 7:30am. The training will start at 8:00am and will conclude by 12:00pm. Earn up to 4 PDH’s or RTC hours. Continental Breakfast included

Bob Bohannon, City of Moline
Bob Bohannon is the Water Lab Chemist with the City of Moline Water Division. He has a B.S. of Biology degree from Teikyo Marycrest University. Bob has completed numerous water operator classes and training sessions related to water treatment. He also has presented on different water treatment topics. He currently is a certified class A water operator in Illinois. Bob has worked for Moline for just over five years and his work currently involves water quality issues dealing with source water and water treatment and distribution. He also is currently involved with joint projects with the USEPA and other stakeholders with a early warning river monitoring station in Riverdale Iowa, and with increasing data sharing between different P.W.S.. Bob has also previously been employed with several agri-based companies for over 12 years, in their labs- which also involved Wastewater lab testing. He is also a member of AWWA and the Illinois section of AWWA.
