AWWA Source Water - Looking for Section Committees and contact of people. Robyn is on the national committee. Laurie suggested that the committee look to "connecting the sections" as a part of their plan.

Source Water Protection Rule - The rule will be modeled after the GW300 AWWA source water protection standard and have a vision statement and plan with evaluation of the plan. It will be phased in by population. The larger system have 3 years and the smaller have 5 years and it would need to be updated every 3-5 years. There is no requirement to implement the plan but the hopes that it would be implemented in the future. The plan would need to be developed but does not include any "action" items. They are working with the ground water advisory council.

Legislative Update- went out to all of the members. Bill number HB 2615 - is ready to be signed.
