Pumps and Pump Maintenance

TOPIC:
  As Superintendents and Operators of your water system you need to understand the importance of how your well and pump works and how to keep it operating at top efficiency. This class will teach you how to understand the key design aspects about your well and pump system. You will all learn how to analyze and maintain your investment to avoid the costly breakdowns. Plus you will be shown how to track key measurements on your pump system so you can detect problems before they become costly emergencies. If you are responsible for the pumping systems at your municipality, subdivision, facility or golf course then you need to attend this course. You will leave this session with the tools you need to properly care for your system on a day to day basis. You will also gain the knowledge & tools needed to determine when it is not performing up to standards. Plus, you will have a better idea of what to expect when repairs are needed on your pumping equipment and how to get the most for your repair investment.

REGISTRATION & HOURS: Registration begins at 7:30am. The training will start at 8:00am and will conclude by 12:00pm. Earn up to 4 Professional Development Hours (PDH's) for engineers or Renewal Training Credit (RTC) hours for water operators. Continental breakfast will be included.
