Presenter: Robert Christlieb is the Senior Manager of Construction for the Chicago Public
Schools. He has 25 years of planning, design, project management and
construction experience in both the private and public sector.
In his current position, he is responsible for implementing the
$780-million-dollar Capital Program for FY 17 as well as managing the
Environmental Services division of CPS’s Facilities department.
Over the last year, he has been responsible for the design, development and
implementation of the Water Quality Testing & Mitigation program at
CPS. In conjunction with Chicago Water Management, CPS developed a
comprehensive district wide testing and mitigation protocols that
focuses on identifying the root causes of contamination while providing
cost effective, and verifiable long term solutions. He is also responsible
for the development of the Oracle Water Quality Database for CPS
which tracks fixtures, test results and automatically notifies relevant
parties when results are approved and uploaded. Rob is currently
overseeing 4 pilot projects to test the viability of auto flushing systems in a
school setting.
