"Best Conference Ever..." is what attendees say about WATERCON. Share information with the experts in the potable water, wastewater, stormwater management and reuse. Earn renewal credits for your license at every session.
WATERCON has sold out the last three years. Reserve your booth now to increase your chance of being assigned a booth at the Midwest's largest total water conference and expo.
The Illinois Section American Water Works Annual Conference and Expo (WATERCON) brings together utilities, consultants, manufacturers, regulators, students and more for their mutual benefit through the exhibition, education and networking events. The focus of WATERCON is to create a learning culture and strategic networking opportunities. The education sessions will provide all participants with various levels of experience, new and creative ideas to implement at their utilities. Download the 2016 WATERCON pre-conference program and plan your visit.
WATERCON addresses the "total water" cycle, stormwater management, wastewater treatment, potable water treatment and water reuse. Todays economy requires that utility personnel have multiple responsibilities that are no longer limited to one segment of water.
Professionals will come to share best practices with their peers and discuss challenges with the water industry (drinking water, wastewater, stormwater management and reuse). Attendees will benefit from innovative industry programs, products and services, education and networking opportunities designed to facilitate new business partnerships. This spectacular face-to-face meeting provides attendees with the tools they need to plan and manage successful utilities.
Future conference dates: (always the third full week of March)
March 21-24th, 2016
March 20-23rd, 2017
March 19-22nd, 2018
March 18-21st, 2019
Share your knowledge with your peers by presenting a paper or workshop. Case studies are an attendee favorite.
One of the highlights of WATERCON is the Awards Breakfast. Awardees are given complimentary registration to WATERCON and celebrated with their peers.
Contestants in tapping, meter madness, top ops, best tasting water and hydrant hysteria all earn a free one-day registration. Winners earn travel money to represent the Section at ACE.
