WATERCON2018 (Springfield, IL March 19 through 22, 2018) is offering exhibitors a unique opportunity to share your organization’s unique expertise with the Conference Attendees

The Illinois Section AWWA Education Committee and MAC have collaborated to develop the "Stretch Your Education” program to encourage exhibit hall foot traffic and to give vendor/exhibitors an additional opportunity to attract attendees to their booths.

Upon acceptance of your 15 minute booth seminar, you will be assigned a schedule for your presentation during Exhibit Hours.  If you have a special time request, please indicate so on your application.

Your presentation will be promoted through ISAWWA pre conference literature.  Immediately prior to, and during, your presentation, a flashing “Yellow Light” will be stationed at your booth and the MAC Committee will announce your presentation and booth location via their Exhibit Hall floor speaker system.

Deadline for "Stretch Your Education” abstract submissions:
January 22nd, 2018

Request a presentation time for the exhibit hall Stretch Your Education by completing this online form and following the instructions below:

  • You have the option of editing your submission at anytime by logging in. Save your confirmation ID on the email confirmation sent to you.
  • For exhibitors that are submitting a session for "Stretch Your Education" please select Stretch Your Education as the topic in your submission.  Exhibitors selected for Stretch Your Education will NOT be required to upload powerpoints, pdf's, pictures or questions for discussion.

15 minute PDHs will be awarded to attendees participating in your talk.  To meet Illinois EPA training credit requirements, exhibitor presentations must comply with the following criteria:

  • Presentation will be 15 minutes and will be held at your exhibit booth.
  • A monitor will be provided by the committee to handle CEU certification.
  • PowerPoint and/or video presentations will not be accepted. While either can be employed as presentation support, the committee encourages hands on demonstrations.
  • No "sales pitches” are permitted. All information is to be generic and cannot be referenced to the explicit exhibitor product/service.
  • All exhibitors interested in providing a presentation must fill out the online submission form and submit with an abstract for the committee’s review, acceptance, and CEU approval.
  • While this presentation style may seem well suited for those displaying equipment, all WATERCON exhibitors are encouraged to exercise their imagination and to participate.
  • While we will do our best to fit in everyone that submits an abstract, time slots are limited. The Education Committee and the MAC will make the final determination as to which submissions are accepted.
