SUMMARY: GIS has become a mainstay in the world of publicly owned utilities and sanitary collection systems are no exception. For Fox Metro, GIS has become a powerful tool both in the field and the office, allowing assets to be tracked and/or located in a fraction of the time. This case study will look at both the mobile and desktop applications and their use to date.
