SUMMARY: Sustainability is definitely the 'catch phrase' in recent months. When discussions include life cycles and protecting our infrastructures a subject that is almost always missing is Cathodic Protection. Missing, and yet the very purpose of cathodic protection is to maintain and preserve, watermains, clarifiers, water tanks, lift stations, etc... This presentation addresses the costs of corrosion in the water and wastewater industries along with explaining how corrosion works and most importantly how to mitigate it.

Eric has been with Cathodic Protection Management, Inc. (CPM) since October of 2000 and has over 20 years of experience in the corrosion industry. Eric’s tasks include: providing corrosion control consulting services for new and existing cathodic protection system installations. This includes cathodic protection system planning, design, installation, troubleshooting, inspection and testing. As well as layout and review of construction drawings, preparation of submittals, bills of materials and reports.

Eric’s education includes:
