SUMMARY: Efficiently allocating
time and resources is a top priority of any busy water operator. Using
technology to make critical decisions can streamline and improve your
department’s efficiency. MGP Inc. is a leader in GIS integration of systems for
municipalities and BSI Online is a leader in cross connection control
management solutions. The two organizations have a strong relationship with the
Village of Norridge and worked to create a technological solution to
effectively manage and implement a complete cross connection control program.
Using MPG Inc.'s GIS program with data from BSI online we can graphically
engage managers with probable solutions and relevant information in a user
friendly environment. By layering different hazard devices and survey
information a user can determine the best allocation of time and resources when
administering their program.
