Enterprise Asset Management Implementation for Des Moines Water Works

Des Moines Water Works is in the process of implementing an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system across their entire organization. The Water Works is undertaking this project utilizing a phase approach for each department and will include water distribution, water plant, customer relations/services, Parks and Grounds and Facilities. The EAM will also be integrated with their current financial, GIS and SCADA systems to provide a comprehensive solution to support operations. Once completed, the EAM system will assist the Water Works in daily operations related to service requests, work orders and support preventive maintenance and captial improvements programming.

Scott Stocking - Woolpert

Scott works out of Woolpert’s Chicago office and has over 20 years of experience in managing the implementation of enterprise IT/GIS project in both the public and private sectors. In recent years his focus has been in the transportation sector with projects at the City of Chicago (Automated Vehicle tracking), Cook County Illinois Highway Department (initial deployment of their Enterprise Asset Management System), Illinois Tollway (GIS data and application development), and Iowa DOT (establishing their Linear Referencing System).
