Geospatial Data Collection and Field Verification for GIS

A Geographical Information System (GIS) is a useful tool for managing infrastructure, by making mountains of data easily accessible. However, a GIS is only as good as the data that goes into it; garbage in, garbage out. It is absolutely vital that the information collected is verified for its accuracy by implementing good QA/QC protocol.
