The Village of Richton Park is seeking:

 

 

Request for Qualifications for Professional Services for Water Storage Tank Asset Management & Water Quality Management

General Information
The Village of Richton Park requests qualifications for professional services to provide potable water storage tank asset management programs and related water quality management services to assist with maintaining water quality within their distribution system.  The professional services are to include, but are not limited to: a custom designed water storage tank asset management program, a custom designed continuous active water
storage tank mixing system with ongoing maintenance, a custom designed water storage tank chemical cleaning program.  The Village intends to maintain their water storage tanks under a comprehensive full service asset management program.  The Village intends to develop an ongoing collaborative partnership with the professional service provider so as to continually explore ways of improving upon this approach to water storagetank asset management in terms of cost-effectiveness and post-treatment water quality management tools.

Below are the capacities and locations of the three (3) elevated storage tanks.
Tower #4 - 500,000 gallons; Latonia Lane, Richton Park, IL
Tower #3 - 250,000 gallons; Amy Street, Richton Park, IL
Tower #2 - 250,000 gallons; Clark Street, Richton Park, IL

Qualifications

The Village of Richton Park desires to employ a qualifications based selection process and will evaluate each respondent’s proposal using the RFQ evaluation criteria listed in this RFQ to rank each prospective respondent.  The highest-ranking respondents will then be interviewed to review and verify their qualifications.  After selection of a provider for these professional services, the Village of Richton Park will negotiate with the professional services provider to finalize the scope of work, fees, and specific contractual arrangements.  The Village of Richton Park desires to develop an ongoing collaborative partnership with the professional service provider to continually explore ways to manage the water storage tank assets in the most cost effective manner and manage the risks of maintaining water quality within their distribution system.
