Be the first on your block to request the new
ISAWWA Outreach "Bridging the Gap" kit!

This kit is appropriate for those in 3rd-5th grade.  There are 2 ways to get your own "Kit" for a classroom.

If you are a school
- You can request a "kit" by completing the form below and your request will be matched with a local utility in your geographic area.  The local utility will be contacted by ISAWWA to coordinate with you (school) and time and date for the utility to come to your school and present the kit to you and assist in your classroom demonstration of the materials.

If  you are an ISAWWA Member
- and have a school in mind to deliver the kit to, as well as demonstrate for them how the filter works, simply complete the form below.  We will ship the kit to you and ask that you let us know how it went.  We love pictures and stories and that makes it easier for others to know they can easily deliver this information to other schools in their area.

Bridging the Gap Tool Kit was made possible with funding from Woodard & Curran.   Schools are limited to 2 kits per school at no charge.  Additional kits can be purchased from the Illinois Section AWWA at a cost of $50.00 per classroom kit.  Each kit is designed for a maximum of 30 students.  The Illinois Section AWWA is pleased to be able to make this "match" between the local schools and their nearby utilities.  These kits will be delivered and presented by a utility or industry representative with the cooperation of the school.   Kids will experience hands on how a filter operates and what is involved to make their water drinkable 24 hours a day - 365 days per year.  If you have any questions, please  don't hesitate to contact us at help@isawwa.org or phone  866-521-3595  ext. 3.
Request from an ISAWWA member.  Please complete as much information as possible.  The kit will be shipped to you at your Organization address or can be picked up at WATERCON.   A member of the Outreach Committee will be following up with you to hear how your event went.  Please take pictures if you can and develop a brief paragraph of what your experience was like that will help others that want to reach out to their local elementary schools.

Request from a school: Please complete as much information as possible.  We will forward your request to a utility in your geographic area and they will coordinate with you the delivery and presentation of the materials to your classroom.
