By-Laws Revisions 2014
A review of
the ISAWWA By-Laws was performed to ensure that the By-Laws reflect current
practices and are in conformance with AWWA By-Laws. A full edited version, red-line version can

Summary of Changes
Definitions
were clarified and expanded, updated
objectives to reflect "total water” advocacy, clarification of multi-section
members, clarification of governing body, clarification of term limits,
changing to allowing the trustee at large to serve two terms, timelines added
to nominations procedures, clarifying
and updating the election procedures, clarification of electronic voting for
board members, addition of requiring an independent audit or review annually.
The proposed
amendments were approved by the Association Executive Committee and must be
approved by two-thirds of the members in good standing voting on the
proposal. Please give the proposed
amendments to the ISAWWA By-Laws consideration and submit your vote. Your member number can be found on the
