From October 2016 Board meeting - approved at the Board meeting

 

Committee Recommendation:

 

It is recommended that the Board consider determining the policy for remote working based on the individual employees abilities to perform the necessary duties from a remote location, but at a minimum employees should reside in the State of Illinois at least 51% of the year (187 days, or six months plus 4 days total) and be present for all in person Board meetings, and in the section offices for a duration of at least six weeks for the Annual Conference or any locally hosted national Association Conference, for a duration of a minimum of six weeks after hiring new staff, for yearly staff reviews, and any staff disciplinary discussions.
