TOPIC: This seminar will discuss what happens to the body when it gets compressed and Crushed Syndrome. Attendees will find out what they can expect from first responders and what they should do should if a cave in occurs. The seminar covers the law itself and then finishes up outside, to demonstrate trench shoring and excavating principles. Attendees will learn how to read tabulated data and how shoring is installed. Handouts consist of the law itself. 


We will move to the Mundelein Public Works Facility (440 E Crystal Street) for the actual excavation


PRESENTERS: Jim Sullivan, Prospan Manufacturing Company

REGISTRATION & HOURS: Registration begins at 7:30am. The training will start at 8:00am and will conclude by 12:00pm. Earn up to 4 Professional Development Hours (PDH's) for engineers or Renewal Training Credit (RTC) hours for water operators. Continental breakfast will be included.
