Join American Water's Lunch and Learn series on"The Customer Experience - It's everyone's job." Each month you will hear from a member of their Women of Water (WoW) team about topics related to enhancing the customers' experience, where it is every employee's job to keep customers in the center of all they do.

 

Part 5: Paperless Billing  is a winning solution to improve customer satisfaction, reduce operational costs and positively impact the environment. Listen as Joi Corrado, manager, Customer Communications for American Water reveals what their organization did to promote its paperless billing program to customers, which has saved millions of dollars since inception, converting more than half a million customers from paper to electronic invoicing. During the session you will learn:

· Benefits of promoting electronic invoicing
· The importance of strategic communications to raise awareness and participation
· Results of promotional campaigns and what worked well
· Samples of materials and insights to crafting effective collateral

Presenter: Joi Corrado, serves as Customer Communications Manager for American Water’s Mid-Atlantic and Eastern Divisions. She joined the company in September 1999, and has held various roles over the years in the state and corporate communications departments. In her current role, she supports six states with their customer communications/education needs. This includes bill inserts, call center Q and As, ads, graphics, fact sheets, door hangers and field service materials.

Her hobbies include Hip Hop dancing, reading and spending quality time with her husband and daughter.
