ADVANCES IN WATER & WASTEWATER TECHNOLOGY - SCADA, AUTOMATION & ANALYTICS

CEU TYPE: Technical
Water Training Classification: SCADA
IEPA#: 13601
Wastewater Training Classification: Instrumentation   IEPA#: Pending

“All licensed IEPA wastewater operators are required to procure renewal training hours (CEU’s) as of July 1, 2019. Because the IEPA/Wastewater Division is still working out the program details including course numbers and recording of training hours,  this class will be assumed to qualify for wastewater training hours retroactive to the July 1, 2019 requirements”.

TOPIC: Every year brings change in the technology and automation space, and the water & wastewater industry is no different.  This class is designed for the operator or engineer who is not brand new to SCADA and is eager to "sip from the firehose" of change.  From advances in sensor technology, micro-cellular systems, cloud-based SCADA, and why Public Works Directors now are demanding need near-live SCADA data, this class will challenge your thinking on what automation means for the water and wastewater industry moving forward.  Hear about what some of the most progressive utilities in the area are doing to be more efficient with their resources

PRESENTERS: Chris Sosnowski, Concentric Integration

REGISTRATION & HOURS: Registration begins at 7:30am. The training will start at 8:00am and will conclude by 12:00pm. Earn up to 4 Professional Development Hours (PDH's) for engineers or Renewal Training Credit (RTC) hours for water operators. Continental breakfast will be included.
