Google Drive Training: A Mentoring Committee Sponsored Reverse Mentoring Event IEPA# 14429

TOPIC:  Technology is becoming increasingly prevalent in our lives. Google Drive is a powerful, widely-used, and universally-accessible tool that can improve efficiency and collaboration on the job. Learn what Google Drive has to offer during this hands-on, interactive workshop that will include a basic introduction of the following programs: Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Forms, Google Photos, Google Drawings, Google My Maps, Google Sites, and Google Jamboard. Please bring your laptop or tablet to get the most out of this session!

SPEAKERS: Corinne Benton and Hanting Wang


Corinne Benton is an Environmental Engineer who designs watermain with Ciorba Group’s Water Resources Team. Before joining Ciorba Group, Corinne had been a watermain inspector with Jacob’s Engineering for the City of Chicago and an engineering consultant at Weston Solutions. Corinne attended Georgia Institute of Technology where she received her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering. She has been a member of ISAWWA for two years and is on the Mentoring Committee and the Young Professionals Committee.


Hanting Wang is a Civil Engineer at Greeley and Hansen in Chicago. She received her bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and her master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. She has been a member of ISAWWA for approximately two years and is the Vice Chair of the Young Professionals Committee and the Mentoring Committee.


Participants are required to bring either a laptop, or tablet device.  Additionally, participants are encouraged to sign up for a gmail email address as this will allow for access to Google Drive.

 Sign in begins at 10:30am. The morning session will start at 11:00am.  Earn 2 Professional Development Hours (PDH's) for engineers or Renewal Training Credit (RTC) hours for water operators. Boxed Lunch will be included. Networking opportunities will be available during and following the event.
