TOPIC:  This seminar will cover basic concepts and helpful insights into understanding cybersecurity issues within the water & wastewater industry, along with general details covering the new risk and resiliency requirements set forth in America‚Äôs Water Infrastructure Act of 2018.  Anyone involved with utility operations and management including; operators, maintenance technicians, IS/IT professionals, and management will learn fundamental cybersecurity best practices.  Introductions to social engineering, phishing, password best practices, and web/e-mail filtering will be covered.  Tools and services such as cybersecurity awareness programs and an overview of the AWWA Cybersecurity Tool will be discussed to help with continued education and cyber threat assessment for your organization.

CHECK-IN & HOURS:  Check-in begins at 7:30am. The training will start at 8:00am and will conclude by 12:00pm. Earn up to 4 Professional Development Hours (PDH's) for engineers or Renewal Training Credit (RTC) hours for water operators. Continental breakfast will be included.
