The seminar will cover examples of day-to-day operations that have uncovered major defects before a  catastrophic failure occurred. The online seminar will also focus on two example projects where 19’ deep and 17’ wide void was discovery over a major highway that conveys over 27,000 cars and trucks. The void would have eventually  collapsed if it was not identified, but fortunately it was identified and repaired prior to a  catastrophic failure. It will also highlight a job where multiple organizations had to work  together to get a 14-inch force main installed that was not designed or permitted yet by a specific date to allow for a semi-professional softball team to begin playing games in the Chicagoland area.
