This webinar will introduce you to the energy efficiency incentive programs from Ameren Illinois and ComEd as well as provide numerous other financial and technical assistance resources from The Smart Energy Design Assistance Center.



PRESENTER:  Carol Kulek, Andrea Reiff, and Shawn Maurer
Carol Kulek in an independent contractor who specializes in public sector energy efficiency outreach and marketing for Leidos, an Ameren Illinois contractor. Prior to that, Carol was employed at the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for nearly 30 years and managed a variety of energy efficiency policy initiatives. Carol graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and has been accredited by the Illinois Economic Development Association


Andrea Reiff is the Public Sector Energy Advisor with Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Programs. Andrea is new to Ameren but not new to energy efficiency programs. Previously she worked with the Public Sector Energy Efficiency programs and other energy efficiency programs during her 30 years at the State Energy Office, formerly at the IL Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. Andrea’s background is a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and coursework in Environmental Studies at University of Illinois Springfield.

Shawn Maurer is a Senior Energy Engineer with the Smart Energy Design Assistance Center and technical director for their Wastewater Plant Assessment program, which is a partnership between the State Energy Office at the IL EPA and SEDAC. Shawn obtained a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville and has worked in the energy efficiency field for 10 years.
