Water Operator Exam Prep for Class B & C: Well and Pump Knowledge

TOPIC: Examination prep for the Class B & C cover general well and pump knowledge including well and pump math, review of how to read a pump curve, static lift verse suction lift, how to find static water level and pumping levels.  The class will also cover centrifugal pump parts, stuffing boxes, mechanical seals, gym, and basic pump trouble shooting.  Bring your questions for a question and answer session designed to provide you with leg up when studying for the licensing examination.  Class will also cover well construction, formations as well as answers to questions you’ll find when taking the examination. 

Todd Kerry, Water Well Solutions
Todd E. Kerry is a graduate of the Northern Illinois University of DeKalb, IL and worked his way through College as a third generation water well drilling and pump installation contractor with Meadow Equipment Sales & Service, Inc. After graduating, he spent 3 years in the field as an installer and drilling assistant on rotary and cable tool projects with Meadow Equipment and in 1998 he was promoted to a Project Engineer were he continued to 2009 before joining Water Well Solutions as a Senior Project Manager specializing in water well rehabilitation. He also Vice President of the Illinois Association of Groundwater Professionals being elected by his peers to represent them.

REGISTRATION & HOURS: Registration begins at 7:30am. The training will start at 8:00am and will conclude by 12:00pm. Earn up to 4 Professional Development Hours (PDH's) for engineers or Renewal Training Credit (RTC) hours for water operators. Continental breakfast will be included.
