TOPIC: This course provides an understanding of electricity basics and addresses specific electrical considerations found in the water and wastewater industries.  Examples of topics the course will review:

  • Atomic Theory and Energy Sources
  • Electric Circuit Basics
  • Electromagnetism, Inductance and Capacitance
  • Power Systems
  • Control System Components
  • Reading Electrical Diagrams
  • Electrical Measurements
  • Normal Operations
  • Trouble Shooting

REGISTRATION & HOURS: Registration begins at 7:30am. The training will start at 8:00am and will conclude by 3:30pm. Earn up to 24 Professional Development Hours (PDH's) for engineers or Renewal Training Credit (RTC) hours for water operators. Continental breakfast and lunch will be included.  TEXTBOOK INCLUDED IN REGISTRATION FEE.
