10/21 - ISAWWA Leadership Series: Boundaries & Balance - Mastering Time and Energy As our global workforce shifts and changes begin at the local level, we need to prepare our future leaders. From cultivating their leadership presence to focusing in on conflict resolution and managing a dynamic workforce, the Illinois Section American Water Works Association is offering their members this virtual leadership series to develop key essential skills. All sessions are 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Description: This workshop explores the essential role of boundaries in our lives, focusing on how they empower people to achieve excellence both personally and professionally. Utilizing real-life examples and interactive discussions, this workshop reveals how an empowered relationship with boundaries can enhance productivity, foster healthier relationships, and enable us to align our actions with our goals, workloads, and values.
While celebrating the transformative power of boundaries we also address the challenges professionals face in setting and maintaining them. By discussing common pitfalls, such as over-commitment and the pressure to please others, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to navigate these challenges effectively. By the end of this workshop, attendees will leave with a renewed perspective on the importance of boundaries in their lives. They will gain clarity on how to establish boundaries that align with their roles, understand others' boundaries, and acquire practical tools for navigating their boundaries while also meeting the needs of clients and colleagues.
