ISAWWA wants to help local communities learn more about the water and wastewater industries. In order to do this, we need to start with government officials. On this page you'll find resources your utility can use for education.

 

           

 

WATER AMBASSADOR

ISAWWA’s Water Ambassador program aims to elevate public perception, knowledge, and consumer education of the water industry. Participants are given access to tools and content they can use in engaging ways to communicate information to the community.

Drinking Water 1-2-3

The Metropolitan Planning Council launched the Drinking Water 1-2-3 initiative to educate elected officials and community leaders about water resource management, service, infrastructure, and planning, as well as provides strategies and smart practices communities can use.

This important event presents a unique opportunity to engage directly with state legislators by educating them on key industry impacts such as Lead and PFAS.
