Overview

Continuing Education Credit Hours (CEUs)/ Renewal Training Hours (RTC)

All our courses are approved for continuing education credits (CEU), also known as renewal training credits (RTC) unless noted otherwise. The amount earned will be equal to the length of the seminar(s)/webinar(s) that you have viewed. It shall be the responsibility of the licensee to submit their Illinois Section AWWA issued training certificate directly to IEPA in order to receive continuing education/renewal training credit hours. 

Professional Development Hours (PDH)

Classes that apply to your area of study should qualify for Professional Development Hours. It shall be the responsibility of the licensee to maintain a record of PDH’s for 6 years that includes, but is not limited to, the following: The name and address of the sponsor or provider; the number of hours attended in each program; the date and place of the program and a certificate of attendance; or log of activities that includes the date and number of hours claimed as PDH’s; a brief statement of the subject matter, printed program schedules, registration receipts or other proof of participation. It is up to the licensee to maintain their own records and submit any required paperwork to validate training.

Benefits

Your Illinois Section membership gives you the opportunity for free and reduced prices to our trainings.  Members of AWWA outside of Illinois that wish to receive these benefits can sign up as a multi-section member, including Illinois, starting at $55. Certificate of Attendance

Certificates of Attendance will be available online within 7-10 business days after the completion of the seminar/webinar.
