Model Water Tower Competition |
OverviewStudents are required to creatively design and build a water tower based on size and height requirements. The models are judged based on 4 categories including: cost efficiency, hydraulic efficiency, structural efficiency, design ingenuity.
Students will also be judged on a fifth category, interview presentation, during which students will be asked to discuss their design and building process. 2024-2025 Competition InformationView the official rules and details here.

Additional InformationUpon entering the competition, students will receive a packet of materials that include background information, a chart for tower design, a detailed explanation on how the towers will be judged, a checklist, permission forms, and a self-reflection form along with a riser pipe and a connector to connect the tower with a water source.
