Industrial networks have become victim to a number of high profile hacking activities recently. Electrical utilities are working on standards to address cyber-security through the NERC/CIP standards and its likely wastewater will soon follow suit.
Phoenix Contact, a leading manufacturer in Industrial Automation will be providing an informative session on industrial network hacking techniques and offering up effective solutions to deter such events.
Topics include: • Discuss the evolution • Understand the concepts and vulnerabilities that are often exploited • See demonstrations of basic hacking techniques and how effective they can be against Industrial Networks. • Learn some of the key networking terms and what they mean for you • Become aware of simple and effective techniques that can be employed to prevent such attacks in the future.
