7/14 Competent Person Training - Trenching and Shoring (Park Forest) IEPA#21456 CEU TYPE: DCNT Training Classification: Safety IEPA#: 21456
TOPIC: This course will cover; ØOSHA’s Competent Person and Trenching Requirements ØMeans of Egress ØAtmospheric Testing ØProtective Systems (Shields, Shores, and Sloping) ØSoil Classification ØDaily Inspection Checklist Ø Brief Rescue Procedures ØFall Protection Requirements ØTrench Opening Protection
ØGroup Project with tabulated data As well as a practical portion outside with a live trench. PRESENTERS: Dan Pearson, First-in Rescue
REGISTRATION & HOURS: Registration begins at 7:30am. The training will start at 8:00am and will conclude by 12:00pm. Earn up to 4 Professional Development Hours (PDH's) for engineers or Renewal Training Credit (RTC) hours for water operators.
