AGENDA: 8:45 – 9:00 AM – Registration 9:00 – 10:00 PM –Baxter & Woodman Presentation 10:00 – 11:00 AM – Tour Summary: Join the Village of Park Forest for a guided open house tour of the water treatment plant and new water tower project, showcasing a major investment in reliable high-quality drinking water for the Village. This guided tour will provide a behind the scenes look at a 5 MGD lime/soda ash water treatment plant and a look at the water tower’s design, construction, role in maintaining water pressure, and storage. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with Water Plant staff and other key project members and see first-hand how modern infrastructure protects public health and sustainability. REGISTRATION & HOURS: Registration begins at 8:45 am. The presentation will start at 9:00am and the tour will conclude by 11:00am. Earn up to 2 Professional Development Hours (PDH's) for engineers or Renewal Training Credit (RTC) hours for water operators.
