ISAWWA OPERATOR STUDY GROUP - SAMPLING & BACTERIA/BOIL ORDERInstructor: Brett Fritzler, Village of Gurnee SUMMARY: Welcome to the ISAWWA Operator Study Groups — a learning journey designed to empower and prepare new Drinking Water Operators for success! Participants will dive into a focused topic essential to water treatment and distribution, from fluoridation and chlorination to rate & fill and much more. These study groups offer a collaborative environment where new operators can build knowledge, ask questions, and connect with peers across the industry.
What to Expect:
• One-Hour Virtual Focus Areas Covering chlorine, fluoridation, rate & fill, pumps & parts, sampling & bacteria, and boil orders.
• Interactive Learning, Group discussions, Come with YOUR questions!
• FREE for ISAWWA Members! ($25 for non-members)
Spring Dates (11:00 am -12:00 pm via Zoom):
• May 5th – Sampling & Bacteria/Boil Orders
• May 7th – Pumps & parts
• May 12th – Rate & Fill
• May 19th – Fluoridation
• May 21st – Chlorination
CHECK-IN: Study Sessions will begin at 11:00am and end by 12:00 pm CST. After registering with Illinois Section AWWA, attendees will be furnished via email with all materials and links needed to participate in the study session.
