11/16 Mission Monday - Best Practices for Lead Sampling/Analytical Sampling
Welcome to Mission Monday! Mission Monday is the Illinois Section’s new webinar series designed with our mission in mind: providing resources for the advocacy of safe and sustainable water through enriching membership, mentoring, and increasing public awareness. The education that you receive from this series is focused on the topics that you need to continue to supply safe and sustainable water to all of Illinois. CEU TYPE: Drinking Water Technical WEBINAR TYPE: Technical SUMMARY: New drinking water regulations go into effect in 2027 and that means new sampling requirements for Illinois water systems. This Mission Monday presentation will cover the new PFAS monitoring requirements as well as changes to watch for in the fall with lead and copper sampling. Don’t be overwhelmed – be prepared! Learn what actions to take before, during, and after sampling to fulfill these new requirements and avoid violations.
