Stage 2 Compliance and the Long Term 2 Surface Water Rule can be a struggle even with the best of system operations. This program will provide insight on the steps to evaluate TOC removal, disinfectant reduction and biofilm removal throughout the distribution system by providing a cleaning mechanism and monitoring program to improve water quality and reduce disinfection demand throughout the entire system. Complete infrastructure cleaning can improve water quality and help maintain compliance with current regulations and demanding water quality. New methods of cleaning will be examined to provide options and improvements to all water systems.
