ISAWWA is seeking water and wastewater professionals to share their expertise and knowledge by becoming instructors for the Section. The Section currently offers a variety of water operator courses to help prepare the next generation of water operators in the industry. We are seeking instructors to expand our operator offerings throughout the state. Courses range from 12 – 40 hours and can be done during the day, evenings, in-person and virtually!
Additionally, the Section is seeking wastewater professionals to kickstart the first wastewater operator course offered by ISAWWA! This new course is designed to be a 40-hour course offered in a 10-week span and will prepare the next generation of wastewater operators in the industry. With content readily available for our instructors, the Section hopes to launch the wastewater operator course in 2025.
Instructors will receive training and all course materials (handouts, power points, copies of the textbooks).
Both water and wastewater operator courses are paid positions ($50.00/hour). If you have a water or wastewater operator license, this is a great opportunity for you! If you are interested in teaching, please reach out to Kali Spain, Education and Government Affairs Specialist at kali@isawwa.org.
