ISAWWA Awards and Recognitions

Fuller Award Nomination- This award honors an individual for their distinguished service to the water industry in commemoration of the sound engineering skills, diplomatic talent, and constructive leadership which characterized the life of George Warren Fuller.

Outreach Award Nomination- Recognizes individuals and organizations who make outstanding contributions toward meeting ISAWWA's outreach goals by implementing outreach programs.

Source Water Protection Nomination Award - Recognizes an organization in Illinois who has developed and implemented exemplary source water protection.

Water Saver Award - Utility Division Nomination- Recognizes an ISAWWA member affiliated utility that is making significant contributions to water efficiency within the water industry.

Water Industry Hall of Fame - This award perpetuates the memory of those living and deceased who have made significant contributions to the field of public water supply.

Young Professional Excellence Award - This award recognizes one outstanding YP for his or her participation in the IL Section.

Illinois Waterworks Quarter Century Service Award (25 years) - The Quarter Century Service Award recognizes individuals who have served in the water supply industry in any capacity for 25 years or more.

100 Year Club Award- This award is presented to municipalities who have operated a public water supply for 100 years.

Clifford H. Fore Distinguished Service Award - The award is presented to an IL Section member who reflects Clifford H. Fiore's consistent commitment to provide public service above and beyond required duties.

Operator's Meritorious Service Award - This award recognizes the dedicated performance of an IL Section operator working as a shift supervisor or superintendent.

Robert T. Sasman Volunteer Appreciation Award- This award recognizes an IL Section member who has demonstrated Robert T. Sasman's dedication to IL Section and his contributions to helping the Section achieve its goals.

Water Professional of the Year - This award is presented to a professional in the water industry such as engineers, lab analysts, designers, representatives, educators, etc., who has demonstrated dedication and motivation to encouraging people to pursue a career in the water industry.

Women in Water - Outstanding Woman Award- The ISAWWA Women in Water Outstanding Woman Award is designed to recognize one woman's distinguished service in the Illinois water industry.

Veteran Award for Excellence - Recognizes a member of the ISAWWA who has served or is currently serving in the U.S military who has demonstrated a notable level of professionalism and initiative, and who exemplifies the military values of honor, duty, and service.
