The Illinois Section AWWA, along with the Oak Park/River Forest High School, the Village of Oak Park and Yuna Kim are partnering to offer an opportunity to high school students for a career in the water industry.
The recommended course that qualifies for the scholarship program offered by the Illinois Section AWWA and fill the requirement for basic knowledge is:
#3003 Water Distribution Systems Online Course
Student Related Fees
Membership to Illinois Section American Water Works Association (ISAWWA)
Scholarships are available.
Online course
This course will assist the student in preparing for the IEPA Class D Operator exam. Successful completion of the #3003 Course will earn the student 64 hours towards the 890 total hours experience requirement for Class D classification.
