Who We Are

We are a group of professionals dedicated to strengthening the operational and managerial expertise needed to run successful water utilities. Committee members represent operators, utility managers, engineers, finance professionals, lab staff, safety leaders, IT and cybersecurity specialists, consultants, and industry partners. We work together to support utilities in their operational and management needs. 

WHAT WE DO

This committee develops and supports technical and professional education programming focused on operations, management, and specialized utility roles. Key topics include technology (including cybersecurity), safety, laboratory, and finance. The Operations and Management Committee creates and promotes educational opportunities in the form of webinars, website content and in-person training.

Operational excellence and sound management are the foundation of every successful water utility. As systems face increasing complexity, from staffing and budgets to compliance requirements, cybersecurity risks, and evolving technology, utility professionals need reliable education and peer-to-peer support.
