Water Treatment - Disinfection is designed so using the Internet students will explore the rudiments of water treatment. The topics of this course include general issues operators face when dealing with a verity of disinfection processes. Along with reading assignments from the text, the course is enhanced with audio, up-to-date photographs, interactive exercises, and online links.

 

This training course is a subset of Water Treatment I and meant as a refresher to certified water operators.  The textbook is optional; they may be questions and content that is referenced from the book.   

Textbook for this class:  Water Treatment Plant Operation, Volume I (7th edition)
Upon completion of this Illinois Section AWWA course, IEPA will award operators 15 hours towards the requirement below:
