Wastewater Treatment: Pond Systems is designed so using the Internet students will explore the rudiments of wastewater treatment. The topics of this course include general issues regarding use of wastewater ponds as a treatment method. Along with reading assignments from the text, the course is enhanced with audio, up-to-date photographs, interactive exercises, and online links.
This training course is a subset of Water Treatment I and meant as a refresher to certified water operators. The textbook is optional; they may be questions and content that is referenced from the book.

Upon completion of this Illinois Section AWWA course, IEPA will award operators 10 hours towards the requirement below:
