#3013 - Water Treatment - Sedimentation IEPA#5255

10 RTC Hours / 2 Months (time to complete)
$110- Illinois Section AWWA Member / $195- Non-member (includes a 1 year AWWA Operator membership 
Sedimentation is designed so using the Internet students will explore the rudiments of water treatment. The topics of this course include general issues operators face when dealing with sedimentation basins. Along with reading assignments from the text, the course is enhanced with audio, up-to-date photographs, interactive exercises, and online links.

 

This training course is a subset of Water Treatment I and meant as a refresher to certified water operators.  The textbook is optional; they may be questions and content that is referenced from the book.   

Optional Textbook for this class:  Water Treatment Plant Operation, Volume I (7th edition)
Upon completion of this Illinois Section AWWA course, IEPA will award operators 10 hours towards the requirement below:
