Wastewater Treatment - Industrial is designed so students will focus on issues of concern to industrial wastewater treatment facilities. The topics of this course include regulatory requirements; flow measurement; preliminary, physical and chemical treatment; filtration; and treatment of metal streams. Along with reading assignments from the text, the course is augmented with audio, photographs, interactive exercises, and online links.

Textbook Needed for this class: Industrial Waste Treatment, Volume I, 3rd Edition
Upon completion of this Illinois Section AWWA course, IEPA will award operators 64 hours towards the requirement below:
