SUMMARY: This presentation will go over the system components one needs to understand to achieve a successful, safe, and efficient bypass. The listener will gain a better understanding of the different pumping options that can be used from high flow or high head surface mounted pumps to electric submersible pumps. It will also provide real world examples on how to determine the correct size pump for a specific application along with a brief overview on how to read and interpret pump curves. Lastly, the presentation will cover basic best practices for risk management as well as maintenance tips if time allows for it.
