Join fellow young professionals in a tour of Chicago's Jardine Plant, followed by a networking get together at the local Lagunitas Brewery. Friday - August 17th, 2018
The City of Chicago's Jardine Water Purification Plant has been in service since 1964 and is the largest conventional treatment plant in the world. It draws raw water from water intake cribs offshore in Lake Michigan and sends nearly one billion gallons of safe, reliable water each day to consumers in the north and central portions of the City and suburbs. The tour will cover the plant's history and the treatment process.
