Earn up to 1.5 Dual Credit Non-Technical.

A Zoom link will be sent 1 week prior to the event.

 

Description: This session will provide the skills leaders need to communicate change to their team and help accelerate the transition process.

Learners will be able to:

  • Communicate effectively before and during change with a consistent message
  • Identify actions to help speed up the transition to help team members accept and embrace the change
  • Determine aspects of change where you have control or influence and aspects where there is no control

Joan Tobin bio: Joan Tobin is a consultant with over 20 years’ experience in learning design and delivery. Joan has been recognized as a results oriented, business partner that drives change and growth through development of internal talent and process improvement strategies. She has domestic and global experience with Fortune 500 companies in manufacturing, retail and direct sales. Joan is an instructional designer, master trainer, engaging facilitator for leadership, change, team performance, and other areas. She has developed a wide variety of practical learning solutions that bridge the knowledge and skill gaps which include classroom simulations, case studies, and elearning. Joan also holds many certifications such as, MBTI®, Situational Leadership II®, DDI® Master Trainer, 360 Feedback Coach, Managing Transitions and Wellness. Joan’s passion is displayed as she works with individuals and teams helping them do their best work. Joan has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University and a Master of Education in Instructional Design from Wayne State University. She currently resides in the Detroit area where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and cheering on the MSU Spartans.

 

Attendees who participate in at least 4 of the sessions will receive a certificate of participation from ISAWWA.
