WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM O&M FOR CLASS C/D 3-DAY COURSE
CEU Type: Drinking Water Technical (DWT) Water Training Classification: Operator Certification IEPA#: 14686 TOPIC: This VIRTUAL 3-day course provides training to utility personnel who want to learn basic operations of Class C & D water systems. We will cover laboratory testing, IEPA rules regulations, chemical treatment, water storage, water distribution, chlorination, fluoridation, wells and pumps, operational reports and finally MATH. 1) Water Storage, Water Distribution, Class *D* Math and Pumps and Hydraulics; 2) Water Sampling, EPA Rules and Regulations and Chlorination; 3) Fluoridation and Class *C* Math and Final Questions. This class is fast paced and is for someone who has been studying for the test or has water industry experience. PRESENTER: Kyla Jacobsen,Retired
CHECK-IN & HOURS: Check-in begins at 7:45am. The training will start at 8:00am and will conclude by 12:00pm each day. Earn up to 12 drinking water technical (DWT) hours for water operators or 12 Professional Development Hours (PDH's) for engineers.
