TOPIC:  Considering testing for the IEPA’s Wastewater Collection System certificate?

Attend this refresher training from experts in the morning then take the IEPA proctored test in the afternoon. Spend the morning reviewing wastewater collection systems, including reviewing examples of the math – conversion formulas, calculating flow, refresh yourself on the chemistry of sewers and on the safety and operation aspects of a collection system.  Spend time preparing for the exam then in the afternoon take the exam.  The exam is limited to review registrants only.

This class is fast paced and is for someone who has been studying for the exam and has at least one year of wastewater collection system experience.

RECOMMENDED TEXTBOOK TO PURCHASE BEFORE THE REVIEW: This textbook is recommended to help prepare you for the review session. We highly encourage you purchase this textbook in advance and review the materials. 

IMPORTANT: Each registrant will need to separately apply and receive a Letter of Admission (LOA) from the IEPA to take the proctored exam. Registrants should submit their exam request forms 30 days prior to the exam to ensure that a LOA is processed. If registrants have not submitted their LOA on or before September 28th or received their LOA before October 28th, they will NOT be allowed to take the exam.

CHECK-IN & HOURS:

Check-in begins at 7:40 am. The training will start at 8:00 am and will conclude by 11:00 am. Earn up to 3 technical hours for wastewater operators or 3 PDH’s for engineers. Lunch is included for all that attend. For those that would like to stay after lunch, we will also be offering a 3-hour Voluntary Wastewater Collection Exam proctored by the IEPA to begin at 12:00 pm.
